How it works

Scan
PhotoBroom reads your library on device and groups what it finds. Scanning is incremental — after the first pass it only looks at what is new.

Review
You see every group before anything happens. The best shot is marked, but the choice stays yours.

Clean
Deleting goes through the system photo sheet, so nothing leaves without your confirmation — and everything lands in Recently Deleted first.
Privacy
Does PhotoBroom upload my photos?
No. PhotoBroom analyses your photos and videos entirely on your device using Apple’s Vision framework. No media is uploaded to any server, there is no account, and there is no sign-up. The app needs photo library access to do its job, and works with limited access if you would rather grant only part of your library.
Deleting goes through the standard iOS photo confirmation sheet, so nothing is removed without your explicit approval — and everything you delete lands in Recently Deleted, where iOS keeps it for 30 days.
How much of PhotoBroom is free?
Every feature is free. All seven cleanup categories open for everyone, scanning is unlimited, and your scan results are always fully visible — the space you could reclaim is never held behind the paywall. Free users can delete 50 items of any type per day, plus 2 large videos. The allowance resets at midnight.
PhotoBroom Pro removes the daily limit and adds Auto-Process All Groups, which keeps the top-scored photo in every similar group and removes the rest in one batch. Pro is available as a subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
